To follow one's dreams, we must first choose to Live, Find Happiness and work towards our goals. My dream is to help many people and create happiness and smiles. My goal is to do many things to make that happen. I began by following my dream. How you ask? I chose To Live. Choosing to live means to be Happy, for you cannot truly live without happiness. To Live, truly live, one follows their desires creating happiness along the way. I chose to Find Happiness.
By doing that, I was able to begin working towards my goals. I created many things that i knew would bring smiles to many faces and improve many lives. I envisioned scenes of smiling faces. I envisioned God giving me signs and directions along the way to my goal.
When you envision a goal, a plan for what you want in life, write it down. When you write it down, it becomes more than just a thought. You just took action towards realizing your goal!
When you take action you are working towards your goal. You have chosen to live. You have found happiness. You followed your dreams and they are coming true one little bit at a time. When someone says live, be happy and follow your dreams. This is what they meant.
We also must believe that our purpose is to allow God to work through us. Each day looking back, as i had done this, I now see proof that God was working through me along the way. Many times I was overwhelmed with joy and awed with the many coincidental encounters with people I met at each turn on my journey who needed my help.
The photography collection I now have can be shared to inspire others rather than just fill my computer memory. http://MjaPhotography.webs.com. My dream of helping others to inspire them is coming true one small step at a time.
My dream and goal of helping others with https://www.facebook.com/AutismEtc is also coming true one small step at a time.
My book project to pull everything together is beginning to take shape, called Shine or Sink.
I chose not to sink into a world where dreams did not exist and goals never became a reality. I chose to Shine! For shining in all God's glory Is proof that He is working through me. Amen for that. Thank you for taking time to enjoy my work here. I look forward to meeting with you again in the near future.

had a thought to create cowboys...and did it!
one night a couple nights ago i pulled out some oil pastels and some paper. thought i may try to draw some western pictures. well, i came up with a stick cowboy, a stick horse, a fence, and for good measure a guitar.
then i thought may as well try to get the stick figure on the horse and see how that turned out. not bad.
then i figured i should go ahead and make a cowgirl. what a cowgirl needs is a horse a hat some boots and a guitar as well.
thats great and all. but it wasnt enough. the drawings needed more.
today i added some words in what other than cloud shaped bubbles.
that ties in to my love of clouds.
i feel blessed to have tried to do something i didn't think i could do. and once i had Faith in myself to try my efforts have just kept right on going.
well anyways to make a long story short please feel free to view my newest and first ever cartoons.
in syndication by me and thanks to blogspot for the page to get er done.

a blessing to a prayer
I was sitting looking at a small little chest and a little bucket i had purchased at the craft store. as a thought to myself what purpose can these items serve? you cannot put fruit in the bucket - it is too small.
you cannot put blankets into the chest or even very many small items - it is too small. I could paint them different colors but what will the catch be to attract someone to them?
I had said a prayer that very same day for an income and way to support my family while doing something i would love to do and still have quality time to spend with my family. It was then that i had placed that prayer in God's Hands and waited for an answer. That's a big order and realized it may not be answered for a very long time. But I knew God had a plan for me. He does for everyone.
I knew that God does answer prayers. I knew that no prayer is too small no person too small for God to answer them. Answers to prayers come sometimes in dreams, a picture message in the clouds, inspiration, just a strong feeling or even sometimes a suprising voice in your head that you didnt expect to hear.
As i sat pondering the thought of those little items and what i could do with them God answered. The thought came to me after just a day before finding a book about a young indian boy who didnt have a purpose and was too small to be a hunter. God and his people told him his purpose was to be a painter. so he did and became a great painter. I knew that was a small message along with the small items and my thoughts of what to do with them.
the answer was a small tag to attach to each item with a ribbon. oh but what would it say?
Then it came to me! even though the items were small much like a dream catcher they could very well hold dreams. Dreams are very big things for something so small to hold! Hallelujah. I found a purpose that i could actually accomplish and realize that someone just may benefit from as my son did with his dream catcher.
I remembered the dream catcher especially after reading the story of the little indian painter. So it came to be i made tags from my scrapbooking paper and ribbon that simply stated - and yes this also came to me that very same afternoon! Now try and tell me God doesnt answer prayers? Well painting is what I believe was his purpose and answer for me to do in life. And receiving these small messages was a Big thing!-
the tags oh yeah, simply stated,
"God will make you dreams come true! drop them in this bucket where they can wait for you."
hey that sounds pretty catchy. i like it!
and of course for the little box with the lid i wrote "God will make your dreams come true! store them in this chest where they can wait for you." for an actual item name of each i came up with lil bucket of dreams and lil chest of dreams.
i searched the entire internet and found absolutely nothing of this magnitude for a message attached to a hand painted design item. Nothing like it!
I enlisted the help of my family to search. i waited one whole agonizing night until the religious store was open the next day so i could look there.
After searching the entire store quietly i looked up and realized i had walked right behind the store owners desk!
When she asked if she could help I replied I am looking for something you dont yet have in your store. she asked if i was an artist. Wow, cool i thought i better say yes and realized thats the first time i had introduced myself in public as an actual artist.
how Inspiring is that? In a religious store of all places to realize your hopes dreams inspiration are coming closer to a true realization of actually happening through faith and belief? Through taking that step and trusting that God will provide if I follow His path and my purpose in life? It was truly an amazing feeling!
The store owner then said that she wished she had the talent to be creative. against my urge to exclaim how God could make her dreams come true and possibly spill my entire suprise before i was ready i just agreed and told her that i would come back to show her what im talking about.
I left the store that day inspired to continue following my dreams for myself and to go back and be able to keep my word and not only show her proof but also tell her the entire story of how God answered a prayer of what I should do.
when I go back to see her I will be able to show her proof that if she too follows her dreams she can be creative and hopefully she will showcase a few of my little buckets of dreams and lil chest of dreams in her store.
I believe these items will sell very well to help support my family and helping me at the same time to Share God's purpose and my testimony that God does make our dreams come true and He does answer prayers.
I am thankful for that! Blessings and miracles are in the works every day.

art studio and gallery
so today i realized that i am preaching that everyone should do what they love and have fun in life. as i sat outside under my carport painting a dilapidated little old vintage rocking chair with the rockers missing that seemed lonely in my flower garden. it cheered me right up when i added inspiration hope new paint and the works to it! well anyways that is when i realized i needed to find an actual art studio to save lots of unwanted items that with the touch of a little imagination, hope and a dream unwanted items could become very wanted again. isnt that the way it goes in life? people are the same way. without imagination, dreams and hope many feel unwanted or lost until someone reinvents their hopes dreams and imagination and gives them a reason to feel wanted again.

i realized that I could be happy in an actual art studio in the downtown area of Davenport, Iowa which after seeing the 4 yr old little girl becoming an overnight sensation with her canvas paintings i also knew that an art studio where others could paint their very own canvas would be a pretty cool attraction in the area. I began contacting anyone that seemed like they may know where i should begin. I have gotten an answer back and am working on the business plan now. it is something enjoyable that the community could actually also enjoy and benefit from. so on to my business plan. will post more info very soon!
