but since i have not been receiving pay from work
and have a couple thousand dollars worth of living expenses a month
i have to say God is providing!
car loan in forbearance. house payment paid up.
some credit cards on payment plans with no late fees and reduced payments
and amazingly somehow i even paid off a credit card and car loan to refinance them together.
Tell me God doesnt provide! and i would have to say you are wrong.
we have not gone hungry one day since i was injured and unable to work
while it has been tough here and lots of bills are piling up like the water and sewer bill and electric bill
etc!...they are all still on and working for us.
i have kept Faith in knowing that while my son wore holes
through his shoes biking and skateboarding and outgrew his coat those will be replaced even
with no income.
it has been a truly amazing experience learning that God does provide!
and life does go on.
if you have lost a job or income or have felt financial strain
please join me in prayer and believe God will provide. I am proof of that!
Pray for blessings this holiday season! this was a post i had added on facebook in a note last winter. I am still proof that God does provide!
I have managed to keep everything paid up and am So Thankful!
What I truly found interesting is in the Bible! actually had gone to a prayer page and found it posted there after thinking about debt. Once again God sends answers if we just listen, pray for others as i was doing the moment i found the following and we are Thankful for each blessing.
"At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD's release" (Deuteronomy 15:1-2).
Going bankrupt can release you from your debts, and help you start a new debt free life. http://www.christianprayercenter.com/bankruptcy-response.html According to pastor John debts are called Demon's debts.
.
while i love the passage listed here and even shouted well hallelujah! after finding the message through a prayer request i sent to help a friend my feeling is one of ponderance. should we not live within our means? should money and things not be important to the point of creating so much debt? if in debt should we not work hard to pay it all off?
according to the listing above the answer is no.
However, the TRUE ANSWER i think is IF we live to serve the Lord and Listen closely to answers He sends to us for Guidance and we are truly Happy and Thankful in our lives everything will be provided and debt will slowly work its way out of our lives with hard work and perseverance.
That and tithing. Of course! Have you ever been so deep in debt and broke to the point it seems there is no way out? Nothing you can do to fix anything? That is just about the time I find myself running full speed ahead on a wing and prayer to church cause guess what? the gas tank is on empty! No money to fill the tank and here I am driving straight to church to praise God. Why you ask? I still have a car and I made it on empty to praise Him! God rewards those who live for Him so that He may live through us! And do you know what I usually take with me? You guessed it! My last dollar. usually in change. small change. it seems like a LOT more when i am carrying my last dollar in almost all pennies for my offering. i know thats not how it is supposed to work. but its the way i have been doing it and probably would find myself truly amazed at the blessings i could be receiving if i would actually stick to a much more regular plan!
And do you know? that Blessing of a Gift to Our Lord and My Thanks of Praise that day
Lifts my spirit like you wouldnt believe -well maybe you would. maybe you too have been there.
and on the way home still on empty and yes i always make it home on empty from church. a Miracle has happened. Miracle? what miracle? i am still broke! LOL. but not in spirit! that is the true miracle. that and i make it all the way back home on an empty gas tank.
See miracles do happen when you get to church!
i sit at home the rest of the day broke, on empty but filled with the Holy Spirit thinking why that wasnt so bad i should go every week! and usually my dollar given to the church is then multiplied with more small miracles throughout the week and finally a tank of gas is delivered.
Debt can be handled if we put our bank account and our trust and thanks in the Lord's Hands.
